Replacing the Optical Drive

Procedure
1
Connect the optical-drive bezel to the optical-drive.

Align the screw hole on the optical-drive bracket with the screw hole on the
optical drive.
3
Replace the screw that secures the optical-drive bracket to the optical drive.
4
Slide the optical-drive assembly into the optical drive bay.
5
Replace the screw that secures the optical-drive assembly to the computer base.
6
Replace the memory-module cover.
Postrequisites
Replace the battery. See "Replacing the Battery" on page 12.
