    ■ Bluetooth wireless technology The HS-12W headset can be connected to a compatible mobile phone or other device that supports Bluetooth wireless technology. This technology makes it possible to connect compatible communication devices without cables.

    The headset HS-12W is intended for use with the following chargers: AC-1, ACP-12, and LCH-12. Warning: Use only chargers approved by Nokia for use with this particular enhancement.

    Bluetooth devices. See the user guide of your phone for instructions. 3. Select the headset (Nokia HS-12W) from the list of found devices. 4. Enter the passcode 0000 to pair and connect the headset to your phone. In some phones you may need to make the connection separately after pairing.

    Switch the call between headset and phone To switch the call between the headset and a compatible Nokia phone, press and hold the call/play key of the headset for 2 seconds, or use the respective function in your phone.

    You are notified of new messages and missed calls only if your Nokia phone supports the transfer of this information into the headset.

    The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times but it will eventually wear out. Recharge your battery only with Nokia approved chargers designated for this device. Unplug the charger from the electrical plug and the device when not in use.

    If your device does get wet, allow the device to dry completely before replacing it. • Do not attempt to remove the battery from the device. Nokia recommends to take it to the nearest authorized service facility for replacement of the battery.
