Calibration Handbook Sensepoint XCD-RTD Calibration Procedure It is recommended to periodically carry out a gas response check on the Sensepoint XCD RTD to ensure correct operation. This may be done in two ways; 1. A simple Response Check often referred to as a “BUMP TEST” is a test using calibration gas applied to the sensor via the Weather Protection or using the Sensepoint Gassing Cap.
