CORRECT PLACEMENT AND ADJUSTMENT OF THE MONITOR CAN REDUCE EYE, SHOULDER AND NECK FATIGUE. Raise and Lower Monitor Screen The monitor may be raised or lowered in either portrait or landscape mode. To raise or lower screen, place a hand on each side of the monitor and lift or lower to the desired height (Figure RL.1). NOTE: Handle with care when raising or lowering the monitor screen.

Flexible Arm Installation This LCD monitor is designed for use with a fl exible arm. ECO TOOLS BRIGHTNESS Adjusts the overall image and background screen brightness. If ECO MODE is set to 1 or 2, a bar for CARBON FOOTPRINT will appear. CONTRAST Adjusts the overall image and background screen brightness by input signal level. ECO MODE Decreases the amount of power consumption by reducing the brightness level.

HUMAN SENSING The sensor on the front side of the monitor detects the movement of a person by using the HUMAN SENSING function. The HUMAN SENSING has three settings: OFF: No human sensing. 1 (LIGHT): After it is detected that there is no person after a period of time, the monitor shifts to low brightness mode automatically to reduce the power consumption.

EXPANSION Sets the Zoom method. FULL: The image is expanded to full screen regardless of the resolution. ASPECT: The image is expanded without changing the aspect ratio. OFF: The image is not expanded. NOTE: FULL works only when MULTI PICTURE is OFF. UNIFORMITY This function electronically compensates for the slight variations in the white uniformity level as well as for deviations in color that may occur throughout the display area of the screen.

MULTI PICTURE Activates MULTI PICTURE (split screen) function and selects the priority (adjustable) screen. OFF: Shows a single screen. LEFT: Shows 2 screens. The left screen is select as the priority screen, meaning that any settings will apply to the left screen.

HOT KEY When this function is activated, MULTI PICTURE, BRIGHTNESS and VOLUME can be adjusted without entering the OSD menu by using the front keys. ON: The “ ” touch key on the bezel is enabled and can toggle among MULTI PICTURE setting (see page 11). The Left/Right key adjusts the brightness level.

Information Provides information about the current resolution display and technical data including the preset timing being used and the horizontal and vertical frequencies. Indicates the model and serial numbers of your monitor. OSD Warning OSD warning menus disappear when EXIT is selected. NO SIGNAL: This function gives a warning when there is no horizontal or vertical sync.

Using the Auto Brightness function The brightness of the LCD screen can be set to increase or decrease depending on the amount of ambient lighting within the room. If the room is bright, the monitor becomes correspondingly bright. If the room is dim, then the monitor will dim accordingly. The purpose of this function is to make the viewing experience more comfortable to the eye in a variety of lighting conditions.
ControlSync 1. Connect the master monitor with a sub monitor via a ControlSync cable (ø 2.5) into ControlSync IN/OUT. 2. Follow the steps of DATA COPY. When the setting of the master monitor is adjusted, it will be copied and sent to the connected sub monitor(s) automatically.
If you change the HF-VSDB setting to “OFF”, it might improve the compatibility problem.
