Maintaining Your Printer
REDISTRIBUT-
ING THE
TONER
The toner powder in one disposable Toner Cartridge
lasts for approximately 4000 pages. However, the
Starter Toner Cartridge will last 2,000 pages. The
shading of the print output becomes lighter when the
cartridge needs to be replaced or the toner needs to
be redistributed.
When the print output is light, perform the following
steps to redistribute the toner.
Redistribute the toner by performing the following
steps.
1. Turn off the power of the printer.
2. Pull the lock release lever and raise the upper
cover gently.
