Prerequisites
CAUTION: Removing the coin-cell battery resets the BIOS setup program's
settings to default. Before removing the I/O board along with the coin-cell
battery, it is recommended to note the BIOS setup program's settings.

Remove the

1
Open the latch and disconnect the I/O-board cable from the system board.

Peel the I/O-board cable from the palm rest and keyboard assembly.

Remove the screw (M2x4) that secures the I/O board to the palm rest and
keyboard assembly.
